“We take great pride in being part of the Houston community and we’re excited to contribute to its growth by creating hundreds of great new jobs in the area,” said Regional Leader of Restaurants Ryan Pruitt. “As we prepare for these three openings, we’re on the lookout for talented, enthusiastic individuals to join our crew.”

Raising Cane’s recently launched a mass hiring effort in an attempt to fuel their growth for this year. Pruitt states that there will be roughly 100 employees assigned to each store. While the company’s main focus is filling up these new stores, they are also hiring at many already open locations across the city.

Pruitt has been with Raising Cane’s for over 10 years. In the time in which he’s been there, he says that the company has donated $3 million back to local communities.

“Being able to give back to our community is something that is so unique, and something that our brand is passionate about,” Pruitt said. “Which makes me passionate every day when I get up to work here and help other individuals grow and give back to the community as well.”

This year, Raising Cane’s was one of three restaurant brands named on Forbes’ “Best Employers For New Grads” Top 100 list, as well as the Glassdoor’s “100 Best Places to Work in the U.S.” list in 2021.

Pruitt also mentioned the company’s six figure program, in which workers can go from working as a Crew Member, to Ship Manager, to Operations Manager, to Restaurant Leader, to finally Restaurant Partner. As someone with experience in the restaurant field, Pruitt describes his experience with Raising Cane’s as “fast-paced and fun.”

“I’ve been in the restaurant industry for 30 years,” he said. “I have never been in a position where I’ve felt so awarded and so appreciated.”

For those looking into part-time work, Pruitt said that starting rates are $12 per hour. He says that the new locations will offer flexible scheduling, along with “great benefits.”

The Humble location is hiring now through November 18 with appointments at Holiday Inn Express & Suites located at 5619 FM 1960 Road E. in Humble.

The Cypress location is also hiring now through November 18 in the parking lot of the new restaurant at 8956 Barker Cypress Road in Cypress.

As for the third restaurant, the Northwest Freeway location, its hiring will be held now through December 6. The hiring process for that location will take place at Fairfield Inn & Suites Brookhollow located at 4850 Federal Plaza Drive in Houston.

Raising Cane’s encourages those interested in working positions at any of the three new Houston-area Restaurants can apply by texting RCJOBS to 97211 or by visiting WorkAtCanes.com.
